What is wrong with me or is it a matter of what is wrong with TV?
I am hooked on a few shows but even those shows are pretty quiet and non-eventful. Is it that they have been around too long or is it they really haven't got the same idea about how to write as they did a few years ago.
John and Carter - two unlikely friends. |
PERSON OF INTEREST: My favourite show right now because I love the "relationship between John and Harold" - when was the last time that two people had so much respect for each other? Who would do anything for each other. Even Supernatural with two brothers they still have so many issues to deal with but John & Harold find that they can depend on each other and not have to "fight about it".
BEAUTY & THE BEAST: This is a one season show - whether they pick it up is neither here nor there. It's a little series that has been a fan hit but when it comes to ratings and $$$ for the people who produce it then I don't see it lasting too much longer. I don't like that these two have slept together because, to me, it means that it is the beginning of the end and it doesn't have the "punch" that the original series had.
Catherine & Vincent go the next step. |
TOUCH: You seriously have to consider this show on a different level than the normal people. This is a show you have to watch carefully and consider very seriously if you really want to get involved. I wasn't shocked it went to a second season but I am disappointed that it's gone in a new direction. I don't like chase shows and it lost me around episode 4 so I'll still watch it but I'll watch the beginning and the end to find out what happened and then go on to another show.
ELEMENTARY: Quite enjoyable and very interesting that I don't figure out the killer too early in the piece. Again another interesting show and keeps me watching.
VAMPIRE DIARIES: It's been going for two years too long - time to stop now. I'm over it.
And now I've just written another couple of paragraphs and got kicked out of my computer - no matter what I do I'm left in a "HOLDING PATTERN".
